Our Noroscryl® Specialty Acrylic Monomers are used to produce additives for fuel and lubricating oils. These additives include pour point depressants and melt flow index improvers.

Since 1972, Rilsan® Polyamide 11 based flexible piping has been used in the following applications:

Sartomer manufactures a complete line of acrylate and methacrylate monomers used to manufature additives for oils as well as SAR-GEL® Water Indicating Paste for the petroleum industry.
These specialty Acrylate and Methacrylate monomers are used to synthesise comb-like polyacrylate additives used as pour point depressant for oils.
SAR-GEL® provides a fast, reliable way to detect water at the bottom of storage tanks containing gasoline and gasoline/ethanol blends containing up to 15% ethanol, diesel, jet fuel, fuel oil, biodiesel, and other water incompatible solvents. The white/pink paste turns deep scarlet on contact with water and works especially well in alcohol blend systems.
