What are the grades that can be used as flexibilizers for Polyamide 6 & 6.6?

Lotader® 3210 and Lotader® 3410

Which grades are used as compatibilizers?

For Polyolefins and Polyamide blends:
Lotader® 3410; Lotader® 3210

For Polyolefins and Polyester:
Lotader® AX 8900; Lotader® AX 8840

Lotryl® 24 MA 005

For PCT/PBT blends:
Lotader®  AX 8900

Which factors determine the cold temperature properties of Arkema’s Functional Polyolefins?
The flexibility and the impact strength at low temperature increase with higher amounts of comonomer (methyl, ethyl, or butyl acrylate; vinyl acetate) content.
The glass transition temperature (Tg) of the specific acrylate present in the Lotader® Resins or Lotryl® Resins also influences the low temperature properties. Butyl acrylate has a lower Tg than methyl acrylate or ethyl acrylate and therefore has better cold temperature properties:

Tg (G’’)
Methyl Acrylate: -30°C
Ethyl Acrylate: -35°C
Butyl Acrylate: -45°C

What is the heat stability of Arkema’s Functional Polyolefins?

The acrylate based products (Lotader®, Lotryl®) are heat stable up to 300°C
Evatane® Resins: are heat stable up to 250°C
